Life
Learning a foreign language is not an
easy thing.
It is a long and slow process that
takes a lot of time and efforts.
Nowadays it is especially important to
know foreign languages.
Some people learn languages
because they need them for their
work, others travel abroad, for
the third studying languages is
a hobby.
Everyone, who knows foreign
languages can speak to people from
other countries, read foreign writers in
the original, which makes your outlook
wider.
It is not surprising that many
intellectuals and welleducated
people are polyglots.
I study English.
Nowadays English has become the
world’s most important language in
politics, science, trade and cultural
relations.
Over 300 million people speak it as
a mother tongue.

Вивчення іноземних мов — нелегка
справа.
Це тривалий і складний процес, що
вимагає багато часу і зусиль.
У наші дні особливо важливо знати
іноземні мови.
Деякі люди вивчають мови, тому що
це потрібно їм для роботи, інші по
дорожують за кордоном, для третіх
вивчення мов — хобі. Усі, хто знає іноземні мови, можуть
розмовляти з людьми з інших країн,
читати зарубіжних письменників
в оригіналі, що розширює кругозір. Не дивно, що багато мислячих і ви
сокоосвічених людей — поліглоти. Я вивчаю англійську мову.
У наші дні англійська мова стала
найважливішою мовою світу в полі
тиці, науці, торгівлі і культурних
відносинах.
Це рідна мова для більш ніж
300 млн людей.

The great German poet Goethe once
said, “He, who knows no foreign lan
guage, does not know his own one”.
That is why in order to understand one
self and environment one has to study
foreign languages.

натана Свіфта, Вальтера Скотта,
Чарлза Дікенса.
Великий німецький поет Ґете якось
сказав: «Той, хто не знає іноземної
мови, не знає своєї власної».
От чому, щоб краще зрозуміти себе
і навколишній світ, потрібно вивчати
іноземні мови.
